Ideas for this garage

Trying to figure out the best way to treat the inside of this garage and deal with deadening some of the drum sound. It has a concrete slab floor with drywall walls and ceiling. The wall inside the garage in the sketches is not present now, just an idea to separate the washing machine and dryer from studio. The room is 21 x 12 before the added wall and 15 x 12 after.

I am going to make my own bass traps for the corners and treat the walls as well. The outside wall to the left is brick and the other walls go into the home. The is a small window on the brick wall about where the drumset is.

I am going to use drum mutes to deaden the sound of the drums as I do drum replacement anyway.

My question is would an acoustic blanket of some kind be appropriate to treat the garage door as I am already using drum mutes? I don't need to sound proof the garage, just deaden some of it. I have neighbors about 30 feet away in a brick home as well.

A blanket is not going to do anything for sound proofing.

What would you suggest to just deaden some of the sound?

Actually, if you look at the industrial sound control "acoustic blankets" you can help that door leakage. They generally have dense sound absorbtive material on either side of a MLV sheet.

Generally, adding a bit of mass to the door and making sure it seals well will do about as well.
