Thread Starter | Cheap Acoustical Fiberglass Sheets
My wife and I were trolling some home salvage websites and happened upon this site in Springfield, MA: ReStore Home Improvement Center Restore Home Improvement Center 250 Albany Street, Rear Springfield, MA 01105 (413)788-6900 The heading is " Fiberglass insulation sheets". There's a picture and a caption that says they have hundreds of "Dense fiberglass insulation removed from office partitions can be used for sound deadening or insulation." It looks like Owens Corning 703 type insulation. The size is 3'x5'x1" thick. Price is ridiculous, $1/each. I used this exact type of insulation to deaden my rooms and make gobos, etc., and I paid a hell of lot more for it. This is a steal. |
