GIK 242: Good as gobos?

Hello fellow slutz. I need to treat my living room for tracking songwriters. I intend on purchasing GIK products for the task. I plan on hanging 242 panels on the walls. I also need portable gobos to keep reflections at bay. The biggest issue I am having is when songwriters sing loud, the voice bounces around and end up in the SDC I use on the acoustic guitar. 95% of the time I track people playing and singing at the same time. I usually use a dynamic on vocals.
I have no desire for DYI. I need a "spouse friendly" look since it's the living room.
My question is - Will the 242 panels work well for cutting down on room sound when used with the stands as gobos? I know that distance from the wall can be a factor in how acoustic treatment works. Thanks...
Also, if somebody has pictures of the hunter green panels made by GIK would you mind posting some pictures? It's hard to get a idea of how they look in this color on their webste. Thanks...

Yes, the 242 would work well, but the only drawback is that it's just 4' tall...5' if you add stands. You'd probably be much better off with a Screen Panel or two. A Screen Panel isn't too much more than two 242's plus stands.

Thanks Frank. Usually the songwriters sit. I may start out with the 242s then if I need to go with the screen panels. I looked into those and it seems I would need at least 2 maybe 3. I have no doubt that they are a good investment but are a good bit more expensive when you start getting into 2 or 3 of them. If I need to get the screen panels later I could still use the 242s. So it wouldn't be a waste to start with them. This will all happen in the next month or 2 and is one of the final investments to get "stage 1" of my studio complete.
Do you have any pics of the hunter green you could post? It's hard to determine if it's the right color for us with the little green boxes on the website. Thx again...

I do love them. Those are on two big gobos I built...I had them up to get some separation for a singer-song writer duo I was tracking at the time.
