OC703 Staples?

I'm planning on building a few 2'x4'x6" GOBO's. I was gonna wrap them in Burlap then slip them in wood frames. I've never worked with OC703 before, I've seen people covering the front of a panel and then stapling the flaps to the back. What kind of staples are you using and can you securely staple into the sides of the panels?

Thanks,

Keith Moore

I have no idea, but I do know spray glue works pretty well.

Hey Glenn can you answer me this, when building the frames should they measure 2'x4' on the inside?

yes. 2x4 ID. I use spray glue from 3M as well. No staples here. I spray the face of the 703 as well. It makes the burlap or whatever fabric you use set really nice without sagging.

Yes. The rigid fiberglass or mineral wool is 2x4 so your inside frame should measure that.

Re: OC703 Staples?

One more question about the 3M spray glue. Would it be recommended to use it to glue the panels to one another? Say three 2" OC703 panels to create one 6" deep panel. That way their not slipping apart as your trying to cover them.
