Advice for Small Mixing Room

Hi
I have a small room which is mainly to be used for mixing. It is 9' by 9'. I have two small windows along one wall. My monitors are situated along one wall with the windows, while looking at them, to their right. Please can anyone give me advice on how best to treat this space using bass traps and absorption panels. Many Thanks.

Very small room and if the ceiling is 8' then not only is it squ but getting close to a cube which is REALLY BAD. The best thing you can do it put as many bass traps in the corner as possible. You are going to want THICK absorption behind you to help with nulls and peaks coming from that area and also panels for the early reflection points (What Are Early Reflection Points. See the following for layout of acoustics.

Cheers. That's what i thought. I was thinking of your Room Kit 1 as a starting point. I will be setting up the room at the end of the year and just wanted some pointers for now. Many Thanks.
