"mini" roll of insulation for bass traps?

I was going to purchase some more rolls of insulation to make more bass traps. The only problem is that Lowe's or Home Depot doesn't carry the same rolls I purchased last year. They were exactly the right size for me, approx. 15" across, 16" high.

All the rolls I see this year are smaller in height, and larger in circumference, which does not work for my small room. I would have to purchase more for the same height, and the larger diameter would chew up too much real estate. I did see some rolls that were referred to as "mini" rolls.

Does anyone know if they would work, due to their smaller circumference? I didn't measure them, but they are probably around 12 or inches across, and the fiberglass thickness looked much thinner as well, but could have been more compressed.

Honestly I don't think 15" across is enough so I would recommend going with the bigger rolls.
