Can you help get my room acoustically ready for a studio??

Hey guys!
I have just gotten a 10,000 dollar loan for my studio (from a rich friend who has a lot of faith in me, so 0% interest). I really need help setting up my room. However, I will only be able to spend 1500.00 on it. I am willing to make any bass dampeners etc. I can. The room is 10' x 16' x 6'11". It has Vinyl flooring, wood paneling for the walls, and tile ceilings. I will have no furniture in there, the control room will be in a separate room. I have attached a picture. keep in mind, this is taken before the furniture was taken out.

Thank you!

Timothy

Read some or all of these

I have read these books and documents:

1. QRDude user manual
2. F. Alton Everest- Studio construction on a budget
3. F. Alton Everest - Master handbook of Acoustics
4. Rod Gervais - Home Recording Studio: Build it like the Pros
5. Mitch Gallagher - Acoustic Design for the Home Studio

Auralex will also give you a free consultation after you send them the appropriate diagrams of your room. They will suggest which Auralex products to use (obviously.)

Also, is that right? A 6' 11" ceiling? You'll have issues about using overhead mics and tall people.

This was in my thread below (1D and 2D diffusors). The links are active in that thread.

I don't see a picture attached to the post, but here is a layout guide you can go by.
