Thread Starter | 94 bucks for 9 panels of 6 pound Knauf?
Did I get ripped? I thought this stuff was cheaper. I don't think i ever purchased 6 pound stuff before. Is this 6 pound Knauf the equivalent of 703? And the 3 pound equiv to 703? I got one package of one and a half inch thick 6 pound density rigid Knauf. It has 9 2x4 panels Which will make 4 3 inch think panels of 6 pound density, and one left over s that when I buy another package next month I can get five more 3 inch panels. Question is, doesn't this seem very expensive? With tax and all it was 94 dollars for one pack of this stuff. Is that fair or did they see me coming? |

seems about right. 3lbs = equiv to 703 6lbs = equiv of 705 6lb/705 is more expensive. |

Doesn't appear that you got ripped off. Its 6# density board, which is more expensive than the standard 3#.
