Combining Rockboard and Fiberglass

I have a square 12'x12'x7.8' room. From what I've heard/read, I need to bass trap the crap out of my room.

I'm planning on making 4" corner absorbers to stratle all wall-wall and ceiling-wall corners. I'm also going to make 4" clouds to put over the mixing position and over the drums and 2" panels for all four walls to catch reflections.

I've found a supplier that can get me a great deal on all the 2" Roxul Rockboard 60 I want. Since I'm trapping so much, I thought about having foil/kraft facing on the front of the wall-wall corners to bring back a little life. To do this, I was going to purchase just enough 2" OFI-48 FSK (3 pcf rigid fiberglass) to combine with 2" RXL 60 (6 pcf rigid rockboard).

A) is it ok to combine these into one trap?
B) should I even bother with FSK in a room so small?

A) there is no advantage.
B) with the square ratio, I would use FSK. Try for a volume discount on all FSK and just turn it in the wall where not needed for liveliness.

A) I want to know if there is a disadvantage, not advantage. ie- I'm hoping that putting 2" of fiberglass w/fsk in front of 2" of roxul 60 is no worse than 4" of roxul 60 w/fsk.
B) I won't get any more discount if I order more and I can only get fsk with the fiberglass, not the roxul (and the roxul is cheaper).

I know of no testing of such combinations. What I can tell you is that while I can not say with any validity that there is no advantage, I can not guarantee that there is no disadvantage. You are in uncharted waters.
