| Gear maniac | is it more effective to have a 4'' thick absorber (right above the mix position) up a
is it more effective to have a 4'' thick absorber (right above the mix position) up against the ceiling or a 2" thick absorber with a 2 " space between the ceiling and the absorber? ....... i can either put the 4"thick absorber above mix position and 2" thick absorber where the back wall and ceiling meet or the 2" thick absorber with 2" of space between the ceiling and the absorber at mix position and the 4" thick absorber where the back wall meets the ceiling

It depends. Seriously. What material is your absorbent? If it is 3 lb/ft3 fiberglass then 4" solid is best. Andre
