Stuffed the corner with rockwools, will it defeat the purpose of the bass trap?

Hi,

Sorry if anybody had ever talked about this.

I'm building bass traps at each corner of my soon to be mixing/guest bedroom. So I built frames at the corner, but instead of lining only the frame and the corner walls inside the frame, creating triangular cavity, I filled all cavity with rockwools inside the frame.

I just found out the bass trap usually only lining the walls and the frame.

So, should I start over and take the remaining rockwools out of the corner, leaving only the rockwools on the frame surface? Or is it still okay to fill them? Because they are already finished with burlap and everything.

No, if I understand you correctly, you are fine. Filling the whole corner is highly recommended.
