Buying Owens Corning 703 and Green Glue in Australia

I live in Australia and want to get my hands on the equivalent of Owens Corning 703 to make some bass traps.
So far I have found a product made by Bradford thats called Accousti-therm, and am told its a similar product that has much the same properties, it comes in sheets 1200x430x50 or 1200x580x50

Has anyone else in Australia tryed to get the equivalent of Owens Corning 703 and found a good thing???

Anyone here found the best way to obtain green glue???

Do you have a website with lab testing numbers of the Acousti-therm?

Damned expensive here... I recently bought a pack of 3 sheets (Sept 2009):

CSR Bradford Ultratel = 48kg/m^3, the same as OC703
50mm * 1200mm * 2400mm (unfaced) sheets - $80.99aud per sheet

Next time I build some traps, I think I'll be using something cheaper and go a bit thicker.

The Bradford rep mentioned that one also, its sounds like the thing Im after. Maybe the oldschool black egg grate stuff would be cheeper after all, for mid/high frequencies.

I just found the black foam about 1m x 2m for $135 a sheet so no, it wouldnt be cheeper.

@Glenn: ... those in the USA would be quite shocked to see what we pay for all sorts of things here... drivers, broadband etc...

@Haynesmachine: I'm in Newcastle too. Got my sheets from Insulation Industries. PM me if you want to get in touch.

another alternative is tontine acoustisorb 3, which is $60 per 1800x2400x50 sheet (plus gst). i got mine from att in melbourne - i'm in brisbane, so they organised with the local manufacturer (which is actually united bond) for me to pick some up from their warehouse.

and yeah, all of this stuff is super expensive down here.

edit: oh, and i've found a few places that sell green glue. ~$300 for a case of 12 tubes seems to be the standard cost.

great info thanks,

I noticed that green glue is about 150 ish a box in the US. Given the current dollar, I might get some shipped over and still beat Aus pricing.
