Certainteed Insulation Q

Good afternoon,

I have been able to find a source for Certainteed (instead of 703) and just want to make sure that I would be ordering the right stuff. I plan on using a combo of R13 batts (for floor to ceiling) and Certainteed for some other panels where space matters more.

They sell the OEM300 and the CB300

CB300
CertaPro™ Commercial Board - Board Products - Fiber Glass Insulation - Insulation - CertainTeed

OEM
OEM Acoustical Board - Board Products - Fiber Glass Insulation - Insulation - CertainTeed

Looks like either of these would work fine, right? Is it hard/possible to peel off the FRK if I have to, or is that a royal pain?

That stuff will work fine. For the bass traps leave the fronts on them. It will help keep some of the life in the room and also help absorb a bit more low end. If you are going to stack them to make the panel you will though have to remove the facing for all the panels, but keep the one on that faces the room.
