Any love for Tectum?

I had a consultant recommend tectum as a cost effective absorbent solution. Anybody have an opinion about this? Furthermore, anyone know where it can be purchased in Southern california?

Thanks,

It looks like to me that most of them are rigid fiberglass. So yea they will work. Seems like the kind of company that caters to LARGE jobs.

I'm not an expert with Tectum, but the samples I've seen are too thin for music application. I think it's mainly meant for voice frequencies, but I could be wrong. I'm pretty sure it's made from wood fibers. Is it available as thick as three or four inches? That's what's needed for home-sized recording and mixing rooms.

It looks like to me they have different types. Never had one in my hand though. Needless to say I would think they would work for things like early reflection points and general high end decay.

Tectum is made from wood fibers I used to have some 2" thick sheets over my console
they made it too dead there.
