Back of traps?

Hi, I am about done building my bass traps and have a hopefully NOT stupid question. Is it okay to use the same material I am using to cover the front of my traps on the back? I have enough material left over and thought if it doesnt "hurt" the traps I would just cover the backs also. Ty for any help )
BTW thanks for all the info from this forum. I would have NEVER been able to build these without all the help....

Sure, you can cover them with the same fabric as the front.Or cover the backs with scrap/butt-ass ugly material,or just leave them bare.As long as you dont come into contact with the fiberglass and it is up against the wall, why bother at all?

i wouldnt leave them bare...for health reasons. Cover the back with whatever breathable material you got.

You really are not going to have any kind of health problems if you don't cover them. But you can if you wish.

well, when i say health problems..specifically sneezing, coughing, irritation...and so forth...it "could" happen....

anyways....no way would i leave any panel in my room with exposed rockwool/fiberglass....even if it is on the back side...

Anything could happen, but unless you BEAT on the panel the fibers it will not be in the air. MANY MANY years ago I build some panels with the backs open for my own place and never saw any kind of fiber dust on the desk.
