Velour fabric?

Have any of you used Velour fabric for your bass-trap? I can buy it rather cheaply here in Iceland, it is stretchable and lose knitted (?).

Not sure if it will keep the rockwool completely inside though.

Velour fab

I have had it spec once for a job. Seemed to work fine although it was actually a little more fragile to track mount and stretch with this particular weave then the standard fabrics.
It should hold in rockwool just fine. If it is too loose of a weave you can always double wrap it?
I would just make sure it is permeable for sound to pass though.
