Thread Starter | Attaching Rockwool or equivalent boards to the ceiling What is the best way for me to dampen the bass noise from a downstairs apartment going up into the hallway. I was thinking of attaching rockwool boards over my entire celing would this be helpful if not is their those quiet celing tiles? |

| That is only going to help the acoustics inside of your room. For soundproofing you need to use mass which is VERY expensive to do.
