Question!!!

Hey guys, I'm new here as far as posting but have been coming here for a long time for information.

My question is: 2 of the corners in my studio have doors in them. If I make a bass traps that I can move will they be as effective? Planning on using roxul safe and sound. 703 is tough to find in Canada. Also, if I put a slab of Safe N Sound on 1/4" ply and and use fabric to hold it in place will I lose effectiveness from having a hard back? I would put it flush against the wall if I were to make them this way. Any thoughts would be great.

Thanks.

Sure you can put them on stands. Our customs do it all the time.

If you plan on straddling the corner you do not want any kind of wood back.

Sorry I forgot to mention the plywood backed designs would be for MF and HF absorbers not the bass traps. Would the plywood back be ok for those?
