tv stand basstrap

i have this 4 sq ft tv base in front of my studio. i 'm thinking i could fill it up with ultratouch cotton and cover with burlap to make it work as a basstrap. do you experts think it is a good idea?

i'm attaching a picture

thanks

the base is 13 in. deep. should i just fill the whole thing or would it work better if i made a frame and added some sort of membrane before covering up with fabric?

I would just stuff the whole thing with fluffy fiberglass and cover it with fabric.
