Thread Starter | Bass trap "curtains"
I'm still trying to decide on design, my problem is I move like every 1-2 years to a different house. Since I rent the house's I don't want to damage the walls too much and don't want to carry huge frames. After some reading, I came up with this idea but have no clue if it will work. A very simple L shape design will hold the bass trap so it will also have space to the walls (just like curtains). If I need to change its placement I simply roll the basstrap like a carpet ![]() What do you guys think? I still didn't buy anything yet so have no idea what problems this might bring. |

Take a look at briansmallroom's post today : http://www.gearslutz.com/board/4717317-post781.htmlin the very interesting thread stuck at the top of this forum : How I built my bass traps (the thread)I believe many people have done what you propose. Thicker bass traps like cylinders and corner traps can stand on their own. Paul P |

Most panels can be mounted like a picture frame. Not sure if you can get these where you live but OOKS makes great picture mounts that hold up to around 100 pounds but don't put huge holes in the walls. OOK | Professional Pictures Hangers
