Making "fixed" bass traps portable.

I have a small home studio in which I've built twelve 2' x 4' x 4" (2" of OC and a 2" backing frame). Most of them are hung on the walls like picture frames or on the ceiling with S hooks. I did it like this to make the configurations adjustable for tracking vs. mixing or whatever was needed. I've been trying to figure out a way to make these available for sessions I do with my portable rig (i.e. I go to record a band at their space and the acoustics are rough or I want t make a quick vocal booth). I've used chairs and mic stands, but they are unstable. I've seen companies that mount traps on stands, but those aren't very portable. Anybody familiar with a compact system for rigging up traps on-the-go?
