Diffuser out of lego's?

I'm just sitting here thinking of the NUMEROUS amounts of Lego's my son has. And *ding*...DIFFUSER!!!

Before I even attempt this, being a novice at acoustics, what do you all think?

Too expensive!!!

Check out the pick a brick service the have at Lego.

( We are building our console cover with Lego and it cost about 250£, but we did it that way because it is more flexible to ad more parts on the future. Framing with a 3cm wood plate bench goes about the double price and you throw half of it because of the holes, plus you cant change the design )

Theoretically it will work, they are quite hard and rigid, although they are empty inside. I haven't seen any data or measurements.
