scratching my head on back wall panel placement...

Hello all.

First off, thanks to Ethan, Glenn, et al for all your insight & wisdom on the forum with regard to the weird world of acoustic treatment. Wish I'd seen the light earlier, but better late than never I guess.

I've learned a lot from reading the existing threads & think I'm ready to roll up my sleeves & start building my panels, but would love some advice on treating some quirks my room has...

My little cave is L 15.5 ft x W 9.5 ft x H 7.5 ft. Pics attached (please excuse the mess, I'm a muso)
The room needs to serve as both my recording & control space until I inevitably become rich n famous.
The front end seems to me like a pretty standard solution, corner traps, 1st reflection points, maybe a cloud etc, although I would like to know whether ideally I should do anything about the 2 weird little 10" windows at the top of the wall? (pic 1) or if they're too little to worry about?

The main headmash for me is the back wall - It has a stud wall closet thing protruding 2.5 ft (see pic 2) which obviously gives me a lot more corners to deal with. Is it ok just to place say, 3 panels flat on the wall inside the closet & recess to the left of it, or do I need to straddle the corners inside the closet & recess too?

Many thanks in advance for your help... I have a couple more questions regarding the floor & sides too, but I'll get to those later!

Flat in the closet is fine.

Wear gloves, hat, long shirt, glasses and long pants. That does help.

When you're done working on the itchy stuff:
Rinse / shower with COLD water
(it helps close your pores so the fibers don't lodge in)

Also it is always good to cover yourself (hat, gloves, glasses, long shirt................) as much as possible.

Actually, it's not as bad as I expected.
Not any worse than the wife's stubble anyway.

I said too much, didn't I.
