Thread Starter | Sound Cloth ?
Hi All, I just got back from Hancock Fabrics. Was in search of muslin/canvas to cover some 2x2 homemage gobos. I ended up with this really expensive "Sound Cloth" which really deadens the HF freqs. It was $9/yd It feels like the snuggly blankies of my early youth and really does cut the sound. But I bought it anyway to cover my Roxul AFB on one end and put peg board on the other (super absorbent side and a semi absorbent side). Did I screw up? Should I have just stuck with muslin? |

you might be ok but you really want to be able to blow through it.

| No, that sounds fine. These are gobos, yes? And I'm sure you want them to absorb too. --Ethan

Glenn's 100% right for absorbers but as long as they're for gobos you're fine. Frank
