Adjustable acoustic panel stand?

So, has anyone made an inexpensive adjustable stand for Acoustic Panels? I have 4 - 2'x4' home made floor standing panels and would like to have the option of raising two of them off the ground to use during vocal tracking. I guess I could somehow rig them to a mic stand, but I think they will be too top heavy. I found THIS , but I was wondering if there are any cheaper alternatives? Ideas?

I have seen them too. They seem quite robust, multifunctional and pretty. my suggestion is to buy one and try it. If you the can copy it with less expenses do it!

I tried myself to make a rack holder for our yamaha mixer in the live room. It looked like shit!! and i spend 1 day to make it. So i bought one already made in the market.

My belief is that constructions with moving parts need hours of design and the last thing you want is to have a panel falling on your head. It is a good price for the job and the quality they offer.

Yeah, they look cool. Just don't want to spend $400 for two stands.

I wonder if Ethan's stands might work on a DYI panel.

We have sold a few stands for use with DIY panels, but I think the guy is looking for cheap and ours are not. A microphone stand with hose clamps is cheaper.

Actually, your stand is closer to what I'm looking for.

Well, it has rows of holes every two inches vertically, and we have sold a few to DIY'ers. If you have specific questions let me know.

I am quite interested in this subject as well, I am pretty much on a shoe string budget at the minute.

Has anyone successfully built their own sturdy acoustic panel stand?

A pair of speaker stands may work as well. They would be a lot more sturdy than a mic stand.
