Help Help Small room

I have a room (normal bedroom size ) that I would like to record acoustic guitars and vocal, the only problem is that my tracking room and mix room need to be the same. Can I do that? If I do what headphones give the most accurate sound? Any other tips on doing this the best way I can. Thanks

The short answer is YES you can do that. First you want to set up the space for mixing (see the following as a guide GIK Acoustics: Room Setup) then record in the back of the room. You may need additional treatment on the back area to help control the sound and or get some movable panels around what you record. Something like the following.

If you would like, post a diagram and or pictures of your room and let us see if we can give you a few ideas.
