Thread Starter | Home made drum room?
So my band is working on our new album, and we're buying a new converter and some km 184's along with some preamps, mostly for pre-tracking, but I'm wondering if I make home made bass trap/like giant pannels in my living room (20 x 30 feet, 9 foot ceiling) if I can make a passable, portable drum room where we could even do some decent tracking of the kit for some cut up glitchy drum stuff. Anyone know if this could work/ have any plans or advice that would be helpful? Many thanks!

Build a load of 24"x48"x4" mineral wool panels and then go to musician's friend and buy their 10 pack of mic stands. Attach the panels to the stands and you can now move them around and make baffling.

Thread Starter | Do you think it's nessasary to treat the ceiling? I can definitely make some 2x4 panels to put everyone but am I going to get crazy reflections off the ceiling?
