Side reflection panel placement

Hi

Should i place my panels directly where my ears usually are at mix position, or halfway between the speakers and my ear?

I hope that's clear!

Thanks

Eddie

Just to add, I like to cover the whole area between where you sit to the monitors. It gives you a wider area so you can move your head an still be in "the zone"
