Cool How much should I invest in acoustical treatment? - (3,3 x 4,7 x 2,8)

Hello again,

my room is 3,3m x 4,6m the height is 2,8 m

How much should I invest in treatment.
Should work with K+H O300.
Should be a good lower bottom mastering room.
So rock solid with no heavy failures.

Thanks, Schizzo

I can't really calculate the divided cost between my live room and control room, but I'm guessing my CR alone has cost me around €4-5.000 (without vat, starting from a bare concrete room)

I'm afraid that's the correct answer.

What good are expensive monitors and gear when you are listening to a lie?

Mixing gets SO much easier when you can trust what you hear. No more "listening in the car" or at your grandma...

I think the better answer is "as much as you can afford or fit in the room" a room that small will always have some pretty serious low end problems, but good treatment will certainly make it better.

Can it be done by myself
or should I contact a company?
Is there any mic/softwarebundle
to measure the room?
What do I have to do exactly?

Thanks, Schizzo

You can do it yourself or contact the company you plan to buy from to have them give you a hand.
