Thread Starter | Quesiton re. using toggles to mount traps in ceiling/wall corners
I have hollow ceilings and walls so figured that it will be safest to use metal toggles to mount my bass traps. However, I am confused as to how you attach a hook to the end of the toggle once it has been screwed into the ceiling? i thought that you would be able to buy toggles which have screw with a hook on the end - but i can't find any special toggles like this i need two ceiling hooks for each trap This is probably a stupid question but would appreciate if someone could shed some light on it! thanks Zaz |

"zaz" I'm in the uk too, seriously it's not worth messing around, it's alot of weight and you don't want it falling on your head or even worse, your equipment! ![]() I ended up buying something from B&Q which is meant for screwing into a tree to attach a swing (a seriously heavy duty threaded hook). I then used a stud finder to locate the joists in the ceiling and screwed into those. That's how I did it, hope it helps. |
