Thread Starter | Here's a quick question about ceiling clouds
Hey all, Quick question, mostly just curious. Lets say I build my own ceiling clouds for over the drums, or console etc. The Cloud is just a normal frame with 703 inside wrapped in fabric, suspended an inch or 2 below the ceiling. My question is as follows. If I had a recessed can light in the ceiling above that, can I put some sort of light reflective material on the back side of the cloud without it hurting the acoustic properties? If so does anyone have a recommendation for a material that would reflect the light? I think it might look fairly cool. Maybe not though. Its just a thought. -Seth |

I would cut a hole in the panel and put the light though it. Glenn

I would, however in this eventual build-out, my wife would like the panel removable so we can use the room as a family rec room as well as a live room. The wall panels, she has no problem with but she'd rather not have something hang from the ceiling 24/7/365. In the control room, I'll probably put the light in the cloud. Its all theory at the moment anyway. -Seth |
