Cardbord frame for bass traps?

Cardbord frame for bass traps?

if i were to make a frame for bass traps out of cardboard would it affect the use of the bass trap any? im just thinking it would be easier to make and hang and move around but if its going to affect the bass trap any i would go ahead and use wood.
