Hairspray on fiberglass panels????

I've heard that hairspray is a good way to keep the fiberglass particles in check before you wrap them in fabric. Is there any other products anyone would recommend???

hairspray will work fine ... but if you want something that isn't as water soluable ... try spray adhesive covers for art.

You can get it in any art store, and it's used to stop pencil / charcol sketches from smudging. It's a base of fine plastic or silicia carried in an alchol mix. (similar to hairspray) ... basically just puts a thin protective layer between the paper surface and those dirty wet wipey hands that might mess up your work of art

There is a product used for covering outdoor plants/shrubs called 'Plant Fleece" it is used as a frost protector, it allows air thru it with no restrictions but would stop the fibres becoming airborne. It would be used as a preliminary covering and not the main covering.
It is available in different wheights,, so you would obviously get the lightest about 17gsm (grammes square meter)
It is not expensive.

Honestly, I've never bothered with any of that. Just do the wrapping work outside, accept that this is unpleasant work and dive in. Wear long sleeves, gloves and a mask if your breathing is sensitive, use plenty of spray adhesive, and bring the finished, wrapped panels inside.
