Thread Starter | TRAPS TRAPS TRAPS....photo story
Hello fellow slutzzz, I would like to share with you with a little photo story about building traps. Detailed photo story (all 50 photos are here) : Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket So here we go, enjoy and have a good day. 1. this is a skeleton of my bass trap. I managed to build 2 of them and put them on the left and right sides of my desk, check next photos. 2. this bass trap is twice bigger then other 2. I fit it behind my desk. 3. as usually IKEA helps - IKEA | Shelving units | LAXVIK system | LAXVIK | Basic unit 4. now another parts....panels themselves... rockwool - wickes, then B&Q - wood and again IKEA - fabric. 5 now, it's almost over ....still needs some work, but I need to rest for a while first |

Thank you very much Gents..... I wouldn't be 'there' without you ![]() It't this very forum and sos which 'gave me a knowldege' I started over 10 months ago and it was long process, time and money consuming Now it sounds .....very very tight it's a bit like old Joemeek optic compression, sound is generally more tighten, and less highs( maybe not really 'less' but rather very short decay), and bass very well controlled I need more time to adopt listening to music.... Yesterday I went through couple CD's... Stereophony and panorama and 3rd dimension is unbelievable Well recorded/produced album sounds f@@@ GREAT !! last Gogol Bordello produced by S.Albini.... hats off I'll need to do some adjustements though move panels bit up/down left/rigth.... still got feelings that I could add more bass traps behind my desk ![]() just need couple weeks to adopt my hearing to new space I need to add that behind all traps in corners I added rolled rockwool. I am too lazy to cut it and make superchunks, so just rolled rockwool and fitted it behind all corner traps big thanks to Ethan, Glenn, and other folks who gave me directions. ![]() |

Looks like my space. Wires just everywhere and a dip switch Sans Amp too! Nice work, very industrious! |

Another kudos on the space, looking fab. And in terms of the "dude" comment; I too was guilty of always assuming some "dude" took a picture of the misses holding his Meek and used it as HIS avitar. ![]() Welcome to the cockpit.
