Diffusor questions

I'm doing some research for diffusers before my move to a new studio and I understand there are plenty of options. When looking at the acoustic calc, what low and high freq should I count in that I most likely will need to diffuse? Do I need to measure the room for this? Are there any advantages or disadvantages to choose skyline before QRD? Do I need different diffusers for different placements, like one for higher freq above the drum kit and others for lower freq around the walls?

Diffusion is helpful from around 500hz and up. If you plan on buying them I would STRONGLY recommend contacting the company to go over your room. Every room is different so it might take different diffusors. We sell Polys and the D1(QRD) and depending on the size room and so on, we may recommend one over the other with different mounting directions.
