Opinions on these Foam Bass Traps (LENRD + Advanced Acoustics)

Im already pretty sure im going down the DIY route for my bass traps but cant help wondering how useful these would be

Has anybody here got experience with either brand?

Advanced Acoustics Quadrant
• The foam has a density of 32kg/m3 and a hardness of 180 Newton.
• The NRC of the Quadrant Bass Trap at 75Hz is 0.63

Each bass trap is 605mm (24in) tall and 305mm (12in) by 305mm (12in) wide.

So the Auralex seem much better by the figures, yet i admit i dont really understand what im reading

Foam can work ok for early reflection points (What Are Early Reflection Points. SPOTLIGHT:Bob Ebeling - Revolution Studio) but not really all that great for low end (as you pointed out with there numbers). Using something like mineral wool or rigid fiberglass is going to work much better.

...adding to what Glenn said, foam "bass traps" absorb about as much high end as low end, as their own numbers show. Not a good formula for balanced decay times.
