ReadyAcoustics Readybags.. how long to get them?

Hey all,

I've had an order for some 424 and 426 ready bags with Joel for over a month now. They were able to ship out the 422's which they have in stock and 2 black 424's but they seem to have trouble getting the red color I wanted in the 424 and 426 (I think those are the numbers.. the 4" and 6" bass traps anyway).

I've also sent a few emails that have gone unanswered and I'm starting to get a bit concerned.

Anyone else here place an order recently?

I ordered a bunch last week and got an e-mail saying they'd contact me about my order. But IIRC the red weren't supposed to be available for a while.

I placed an order for some of their Ready Bags back a few weeks ago. It took about 2 days for them to get them shipped. And I had them about a week (maybe even a little less) after placing the order. But I ordered the Burgundy color.

Joel called me yesterday and told me they'd changed phone systems and some messages were overlooked. They were holding my entire order until the half they didn't have in stock arrived but agreed to overnight what they had rather than further hold up our project.

I figured that's who you were referring to here:

Ordering something "in stock" that is backordered weeks

I was pointing out that Joel commended about it being about weather. BTW that comment was from a time when he was having weather issues.

Sorry if you did not take it that way. I guess I should have said nothing. thumbsup

that is not the case dude. i think ethan and glenn have both just read threads pertaining to ready acoustics slow service (if you search there are quite a few) and simply commenting on it (in glenns case he is linking to another thread).

that being said if i had a hammer handy i would hit ready acoustics!

i just talked privately with another forum member who has been waiting three months for his product to arrive from them.

its unacceptable.

I ordered two of their 6" bags just to see how they'd be since I had some extra panels in the garage and the bags were relatively cheap. I had them at my door two days after I placed the order online. No trouble at all... nice fabric too. This was last week.

Does anyone in the UK sell bags like this? I am getting some 4" 'rocksilk' rs60 slabs but I'm not looking forward to the whole making frames and cloth covers etc.
