Thread Starter | 703 or equivalent in Southern Ontario??
Hey guys, I know these types of threads are a little annoying, but I'm kind of desperate. I'm trying to find 703 or equivalent somewhere in the Toronto or Kitchener area. There was a place in my hometown that had some 703, but it wasn't much and I bought all of it. They won't order more as it comes by the truckload and i'm the only one who wants it! I've heard that Certainteed has an equivalent product (OEM Acoustic Boards?) but I can't find that anywhere either. Anyone have any luck around here?? |

Roxul RXL40. Made in Milton. What are you making? The best bang for the buck around our neck of the woods is Roxul Safe N sound. Andre

Thanks. Checking out the website right now... I was planning on making 2x4 panels (2" and 4" thick) for walls and ceilings. Looks like these only come in 3" though, but that's not a big deal. Is this stuff just as rigid as 703? |

Heads up for anyone else in Ontario... i found a product called Ottawa Fibre OFI-48 that is exactly the same as 703. There's a company called Glass Cell Isofab that stocks it and has a bunch of locations. It's about $55 for 6 sheets and they had a whole truckload of it where I am.

I'm picking up some Roxul Rockboard today. Similar to the Roxul RHT Board I've used in the past. About $60 for eight 2'x4'x2" sheets. C |

If you are looking for 703, you may take a look at GlassCell Isofab Inc. - Thermal Insulation - Glass Fiber by GlassCell Isofab. It is more expensive then S'n'S, but much easier to work with. I used S'n'S for superchunks, and fiberglass for panels. Cheers, Ed |
