Yeah, even 703 is in my experience. I actually do have a 705 cloud that is just the 705 with fabric over it.

In each case, both 703 and 705, I'm using thick fishing line, which is attached to small hooks, that acts as straps that the cloud rests on. Although as you said, it does sag a bit from the weight. I actually need to add a couple more points of support. The 703 traps are mounted the same way, but used as wall/ceiling corner traps rather than clouds. After is was all said and done, I probably should have just bought your traps because they look really nice and don't really cost that much more than DIY traps. Live and learn! disclaimer: While I did say it works, I didn't say it looks great, although it does look ok. :-) But hey, I'm the only one who ever see's the place as it's just a private project studio for my freelance work. |

| Ok now that makes sense to me. So the wire goes in front of the trap, kind of like a cradle? I would think if you put 3 "cradles" around the panel (each end and middle) it would hold its shape.

Exactly, Glenn. I actually do have is strapped at 3 points, but its roughly a 4'x4'x6" trap, so it's pretty friggin heavy and bows a bit.

so then if I understand correctly, a 2x4 2" panel of 705 simply wrapped in GoM and hung as a cloud at 4 points will sag?

| I think over time the middle would start to sag. How much and how long is another question. A lot of the ceiling tiles you see in offices (the soft ones) are 1" 705. After a few years they sag.
