Small Live Room Treatment

Been working on my studio over the last two years and finally getting towards completion!

I do have a build thread somewhere, and one day when I get a chance I'll update it with the completed diary!

For now though, I need to plan my live room treatment. The live room doubles up as a "gym", so none of the treatment can be perminant and must be removable when I'm not using it to record in.

This is what I've got in mind - do you think there's enough/too much treatment?

All will be rockwool in cotton bags - colours do not represent anything other than the fabric colour!

Dimensions are shown in the 2D model - the window wall has a big window running most of the way up the wall - I have a 1.2 meter square rockwool panel that will be placed in front of this.

Let me know what you think!
Cheers
Gareth

Most of the time you want to shoot the room to see the graph. For a control room here is a guide you can go from. GIK Acoustics: Room Setup

Google "Sketchup" it's a free design program from google actually, there are a few threads on this site with pointers to get you going. Great program. If you're looking for some beginners pointers on it, shoot me a pm.

Take care!~
