Ceiling cloud build, a few questions

Hi guys, I'm just about to build the frame for a ceiling cloud above the mix position.

Is it worth making it 4" thick rather than 2"? I have a bad peak at 120-140hz which I'm trying to minimise.

Also, would it be worth angling the cloud so that it is further away from the ceiling at one end? If so, what end should be further away.

Sure making them 4" thick will help a bit on the low end. Don't worry about angling it as it absorbs not reflects. Just space 4" evenly.
