Arrow Looking for diffusors

I'm looking for diffusors for my new live room. I need something like in the Modern World Studios or at Kore studios:

I just don't know how they are called.

Some one has maybe more pics or diagrams, scemes? How to built them?

They are QRDs or maybe Modffusors.

If you live in Europe feel free to contact me since my company sells affordable QRDs.

What is the question? RPG is the name of the company. It is (was) an acronym for Reflective Phase Gratings. QRD is the trademarked adjective owned by RPG for one dimensional Schroeder diffusors based on the quadratic residue sequence. It is an acronym for Quadratic Residue Diffusor.

Thanks Andre!

How long should be the diffusor? How does the frequensy depend on the diffusor's length and width?

You are getting into areas that can not be effectively answered in posts. Ethan linked to one diffusor calculator. What it asks for tells what is needed. If you want more there is the BBC RD 1990 15 report. It is in depth, but ufortunately I know of nothing in between.

I'm planning to make myself some diffusors, but the question is, how thick should be the wooden partitions of the layer?

They have made as thin as sheet metal.

It really depends on what frequencies you want to diffuse.
