making something like Auralex Wall 1141 B

Hi,
I'm interested in something like the auralex 1141 B. Basically I'd like to do a little recording, in a mixed-use space where I wont be able to have a permanent structure like a whisper room. I realize these are not going to provide great isolation, I just want to lower the room reflections.
Has anyone built anything like this, or have any ideas?
