Cutting Rockboard

I tried a search, but came up empty. What's the best way to cut Rockboard to get a clean, accurate edge? I only have room for 1' wide ceiling/wall corner traps, so I need to split two pieces of Rockboard. How do you superchunk folks cut the stuff?

I'm interested in this as well... I have some 703 that will need to be cut.

Turns out a good, sharp pocket knife and a straightedge work just fine.

Yep - I used a straight edge and one of those cheap long razor blades where can you can adjust the length (not the "standard" razor blade shape).

It worked like a charm on the OC703 and gave me a nice clean edge without letting too many fibers in the air.

I saw some guy on YouTube or somewhere cut 703 with an electric knife...yeah, that's just nasty.

My electric turkey knife has got more use in the past two weeks than in the past 10 years for both foam and minwool. I didn't find it nasty. I thought it was a smooth and clean motion guiding the blade down vs. trying to hold the minwool and scrape or saw a knife through the product.

Since I started the DIY bass trap project, I've found that the turkey knife and staplegun are my best friends...

That's cool.

What I remember seeing in that video was a bunch of loose fibers and "frayed ends" on the fiberglass...maybe his knife sucked or was dull - who knows...but I don't remember it being a clean process at all.
