Nice -- let us know how it goes. If you take pics, please post them in this thread so that others can see the design decisions that you made. Good luck!

I built four of these, worked out great - HUGE cost savings, and great improvement in the room. I wrapped them in Ikea unbleached cotton fabric (Bomull), $2.29/yard. Thanks Implicit!

kywoman, those look fantastic -- great work! I see you went with the 89" tall IVAR sides instead of the 70" ones I used. Thanks for sharing and I am adding a link to your alternate design to first post of this thread, so that others can find it more easily.

Hello,
this is a really interesting thread! Both beacuse of the idea of using the Ikea shelf, and for the ultratouch.

After building three panels for a blank wall, now I'm planning to build a couple of traps for the corners of my piano room and, after reading here, I'm wondering if it's better to build tube traps or something sqared like the one here.
I can't fill the corners with absorbant and "close" it definitley, so I must build something movable, to put there when I play and take away when we need to access the corner, and I think that both tube traps and squared ones would fit.
Are they essentially the same?
Thanks
Paolo
