Do your research!! DC metro area Insulation

What's up friends,

I have been searching for Owens Corning series 700 and Roxul products in the DC metro area for about 6 weeks now.

Almost resigned myself to purchasing online and having to eat shipping costs (purchasing a couple of bundles will leave you with a S&H charge equivalent to at least one more bundle-- BEEP that!)

So the search continued, and finally I got lucky!!

****IF YOU ARE IN THE DC, VIRGINIA, MARYLAND area****
Check with CAPITAL BUILDING SUPPLY (complete drywall and acoustical supplies). They had some OC materials that weren't used on a project in DC sitting in a warehouse. Transferred them to my area for free and oh...

Is $88 good for 12 pieces of 2" unfaced OC 703???

4 bundles unfaced and 1 bundle w/ FRK en route. Yes sir.

Update June 24, 2008

Sorry guys.

I guess that I got lucky. I have purchased three more bundles of OC 703 since my last post and the price has gone up. I must have gotten these cheap because this was not a new order but leftovers taking up space in a warehouse:

Capital Building Supply can order Roxul and Owens Corning products, so if you don't want to pay s&h and you're in the DC metro area:

Manassas VA (703) 631-6633
Bladensburg, MD (240) 764-1236
Washington DC (202) 564-9190
