Now I need to tackle the back wall - advice welcome.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my room so far.

For phase 2 I'm planning on a 2" panel on the ceiling at the mirror point between mix spot and speakers.

The main thing left to treat is the back wall.

I'm considering either a QRD or Skyline as opposed to another panel spaced off the wall as it's going to make the place feel a bit cramped - I do also like the aesthetics of QRDs and Skylines.

Opinions?

A good QRD or Skyline is going to 6" or more thick so as far as room it is almost a wash. If you are less then 6' or so from the back wall then I would go with absorption only. Honestly though I would go with both even if more then 6'.

Nice job so far!

Definitely absorption on the rear wall, though you can also mix some diffusion in with it. I wouldn't go just diffusion on the rear wall, though.

I think diffusors are difficult and time-consuming to build well; make sure you get a good design if that's what you want to do. The dimensions have to be precise, they are mathematical patterns and won't work if the measurements are off.
