Rigid Fiberglass in SoCal?

Hello,

So I thought I'd found a good place for rigid fiberglass, but they told me at the last minute that they have a minimum order of 120 boxes! So, I'm looking for somewhere to get some in a reasonable quantity for a decent price since most of the online stores seem kinda price inflated. Anyone know of a good local distributor in Inland Empire or Orange County? I suppose I'd drive to LA if I have to as well, it's just a little further, but if you know of any there, lemme know! Thanks,

-Aaron-

Thanks for the tip Glenn, unfortunately the closest SPI is in Frisco. Fortunately, I found this thread:

California OC Fiberglass Suppliers?

From just a few weeks ago, not sure why I couldn't find it before. Here's some places recommended in that thread:

CWCI
727 9th Ave., City of Industry, CA 91745
(626) 369-4424

MacArthur Co.
3743 Grapevine St., Mira Loma, CA 91752-3507
Phone: 951-685-3172

Enjoy,

Was there a "one stop" thread around here for posting known sources of DIY materials?

I thought I saw something like that, but when I was first researching this stuff back in the old days (like 4 or 5 weeks ago ) I was a bit overwhelmed so maybe I saw it elsewhere. Could 've sworn it was gearslutz tho

Woohoo! Finally got it ordered from Pacific, it's a little drive, but much better deal than the other two places. The first two only offer 2" OC for about $2/square foot. Pacific has 4" Roxul Rockboard in 3 packs for $30 a piece, or $1.25/square foot. That means using the OC 2" would be over 3x more expensive!

So, I'll have 18 2' x 4' x 4" pieces for my room for less than $200 including tax. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
