| I finally finished and installed my Ultratouch cloud over my drumkit. Just built a 5'x6' frame out of 1x5's, attached chickenwire, stapled burlap over that, sprayed with FireStop, laid R19 in and mounted the whole thing on the ceiling above the kit. No objective testing but its very noticeable how much clearer and crisper my cymbals and drums in general are in the overheads. |

![]() It's a disc cutter with a 9" blade which I had already bought for house renovation. It works a treat and cuts really fast, no more frustrated hacking with a knife! I've made 34" face corner chunks and am making 2 inch panel traps. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance. Cheers Driller PS I think you'll find my absorber design rather novel ;) | |

| I used a regular circular saw with a plywood blade to cut my Ultratouch. It worked just fine. Pop a chaulk line on both sides, cut first side then turn over and cut again. Pull apart. The secret is to hold the saw over the stuff so it doesn't compress the insulation. Rick |

| Gear Head | Driller, you saved me SO much work with that recommendation of a disc cutter. It worked so well! Best $49 bucks I ever spent on a project, thanks!
