Thread Starter | Rockwool vs. soundboard
Is rockwool the same thing as soundboard? If not, can soundboard be used to make bass traps? Is a combination of both useful? thanx, D |

'Soundboard' is sold as more of an isolation material rather than an absorbant material. Even then, it's not as effective as another layer of drywall from an isolation standpoint. Stick with mineral wool or a 3lb density rigid fiberglass. They're the best performance for the money. Bryan
